TEN STEP APPROACH TO A CAMPAIGN STRATERGY
£110/165 + VAT
Bristol
New Course
Many organisations grapple with the idea of becoming a campaigning organisation, complementing their programme work on the ground with lobbying activities, popular campaigning or media work. But planning a campaign can be a daunting and complex undertaking, which is why we have broken it up into ten steps that you almost always have to follow to design a robust campaign strategy.
The event first of all takes you through the analysis phase of issue identification, setting the goal, PEST analysis, power analysis, influence maps, SWOT analysis and routes to influence. The second part of the day is focused on the steps needed to set SMART objectives, plan the activities that make up the campaign, be it a media campaign, lobbying campaign or public campaign, or a mix of these.
This event is aimed at people and organisations that are either already running a campaign and wish to sharpen it up, or those who are designing a campaigns programme from scratch. You will be provided with sufficient examples and relevant guidance to bring the ten steps to life and lay a solid foundation for you to get involved in or lead campaign development in your organisation.
